Scott's Twin Turbo LS1 71 Chevelle

The motor has Stage 2 TEA heads, 26 cc dish pistons, Billet rods comp cam, ported oil pump, and a double roller chain.

Several stages of the header I made from 1.75" 321 stainless. The collectors are also made from scratch. I cut and notched the tubes to merge, pressed the collector with a home made mandrel in my press for the T4 flange, and welded it all together.

Hidden 50mm blow off valve behind the bumper attached to my Spearco intercooler core. I bought the 1500 CFM core and custom made my own end tanks from .083 aluminum plate. Then I welded it all together.

Modified oil pan to clear the stock Chevelle crossmember.

Custom rear control arms made from 4130 Chromoly tubing using Chromoly rod ends and Teflon races.

TH400 with T-brake and a 10" Niel Chance torque converter.

Twin Turbonetics 60-1 Hi-Fi with a .68 A/R on center housing rated at 550 hp each
Twin Turbonetics Racegates rated for 900 hp each
Spearco 3.5" thick 1500 cfm intercooler
50mm aluminum BOV
Turbosmart E-boost electronic boost controller
1.75" 321 Stainless tubular headers
3" 304 stainless dual exhaust routed to the rear bumper
3" Dynomax Ultra Flow mufflers

I am currently running 15 psi on 93 octane. The car unfortunatly broke the torque converter on it's first pass at the dragstrip, but stilll went 10.50 @ 137 mph on it's first pass.
