I have been working on
cars for about 22 years & seriously for the
last 11 years. I have been fortunate to have
had several articles on some of the cars
that I've built in the past & current. The
first car that I did a complete frame up was
my 70 Camaro R/S, it was featured in Car
Craft in Nov. 1998 issue. The next car was
my 1967 Camaro, that car was a big jump up
from my 70. The car had complete front to
back Corvette suspension, & LS1, T56. The
car was also featured in Car Craft 2005
March issue. I wanted to build something a
little bigger for more room for my family,
but I also had to top my other builds. I
chose to build 1966 Chevelle, but it had to
handle exceptionally well, have great power,
& have classic looks with comforts. The
Chevelle that you see is that car, it
performs & drives better than I had hoped
for. I am very grateful to all the support
of my sponsors listed below in the specs,
without them this car would not even be
close to being finished. I would also like
to thank my wife Tobie for being so
supportive of me & my visions. I have
started a small business called D & Z
Customs LLC. by Randy Johnson.
