Abbey Melanson's 69 Firebird
Chassis- full tube chassis 2x3 rectangular tube with a 12 point roll cage with a lot of extra tubing going in.

Suspension- removable four link and a three link when we hit the road coarse Afco coils with remote reservoirs on all four corners j-bar in the rear and coil over front with Afco upper and lower control arms.

Motor/Trans- 496 BBC with eagle rotating assembly world products bill grumpy jenkins heads ported and polished, 3 stage dry sump with a 3 gallon peterson fluid systems tank. Trans will be a 4 speed Jerico road race tranny.

Wheels/Brakes- American racing Hopster 18x11 on all four corners with 315 35 18 goodyear eagle F1 rubber. Brakes are nascar short track style Brembo brakes with 13 inch rotors front and rear.

Interior- 2 kirkey aluminum racing seats and the necessary gauges not much else.

Body- stock floor was cut out to make way for the tube chassis. the body is welded right to the frame. fiberglass front fenders and 5 inch cowl hood from glass tec.

We eventually plan to race the car at the Silver State Classis, in Nevada. And hop to race in other events.
