Jeff & Alyssa Kyle's GTX

G-TX

I purchased the car in 2004 for $2,000 from a used car lot.  It had just been dropped off as payment on another cars repair bill.  I drove it home and we started work on it.  My 16 year old daughter Alyssa has always been into cars.  She is helping out on everything being done, waiting for the day she can cruise into the school lot in it.  She is taking Auto Shop and plans to attend an automotive tech school after graduation.

The plan for the car is to make a reliable cruiser we can take anywhere and to use parts that are easily found for repairs.  Here's what we have so far...

Trans-B&M Shift Kit, B&M Deep Alum. Pan, Hayden Cooler.

Exhaust-Headers with Flowmaster 3" B-Body H-Pipe System and 40 Series Mufflers, Walker Stainless Band Clamps for easy disassembly.

Wheels/Tires-Eagle Alloy 17x8 Wheels, BFG Scorcher Tires,255 rear/215 front

Suspension/Brakes-KYB Shocks, Addco Sway Bars, Lowered, Drilled/Slotted RotorPros 4-Wheel Discs, Mopar Dual Manual Master Cylinder with GM Disc/Disc Prop Valve

Interior-Factory Buckets/Console, Autometer Ultralite gauges in the instrument panel, New Floor Pans, Kenwood Head Unit, JL 6-Ch Amp, Polk DB Front/Rear Speakers, Infinity Perfect 10 Sub with Xtant Amp.

Other-RCS Aluminum 22 Gal Fuel Cell, Optima Battery, Painless Wiring.

We are nearly done mocking things up.  Soon we will begin to strip it down for paint/bodywork.
