I purchased the car in 2004 for $2,000 from a used car lot. It had just
been dropped off as payment on another cars repair bill. I drove it home
and we started work on it. My 16 year old daughter Alyssa has always been
into cars. She is helping out on everything being done, waiting for the
day she can cruise into the school lot in it. She is taking Auto Shop and
plans to attend an automotive tech school after graduation.
The plan for the car is to make a reliable cruiser we can take anywhere and
to use parts that are easily found for repairs. Here's what we have so
