My car is 1969
Chevelle, this is the second car I have (I also have a 1969 Nova that I have had
for 20yrs) and it was my winter beater for 6 yrs. I have now had the car for
18yrs, I have done most of the work myself with help from my Dad (who also has a
custom 84 S10) and friends. The car was very rotten with rust, the roof,
firewall, frame and doors are the only things original left. It has new panels/
floors and some Southern US parts. The body was lifted off the frame but not
removed (no room, big mistake) to replace body mounts, floors and trunk.
Everything is new under the car. The car was 4wh drums and now has 4wh discs,
17" billet wheels, lowered with custom suspension and body mods. Also a full
stereo with custom interior.
