Default 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne 427

If you were going into the dealership in 1966 to order one of the ultimate big car Muscle Cars of all time....this is what you could have ordered.......I spent a year building this car from a perfect rust free Carolina car.....everything in the car is new or rebuilt.........the engine is a 454 block bored .060 over with a 427 crank (440 ci)....bullet blueprinted solid lifter L-72 camshaft....correct exhaust manifolds and exhaust system..Brand New Richmond super T-10 4 speed (2.88 first gear).....3.08 posi.....low 1st gear for getting into it yet the rear end allows for some highway driving........Hurst shift gate assy with a stock muncie shift arm mounted for stock appearance, but you don't have to worry about the linkage jamming......
The body was plastic media blasted and worked from bare metal.......this car has all the original sheetmetal without "Any" rust.......as you can see in the trunk, the original trunk splatter paint and spare are still intact.....the car has 50,900 original miles......All the interior was replaced......Just Dashes interior panels, new seat covers made from the original vinyl material........7000 RPM Tach....correct shifter boot......All new wiring harnesses thruout the entire car....the am radio was sent out and converted to operate with am-fm stereo / satelite ready.....yet it still looks like a stock am radio.....
Anyhow......this is a perfectly re-created "NEW" 427 Biscayne, and is priced accordingly......If you wanted to walk into a dealship and buy one today, here it is.......$47,500.........If any interest kwhizz@live.com or cell # 1-847-878-8202
