Since most people don't post the full four digit year in their thread title, it's hard to look up specific years. Is there anybody out there putting together a badass 64 Goat? I love seeing these cars and feel like they don't get the attention they deserve. Post 'em if ya got 'em.

I am currently moving slowly through the wiring stage, my least favorite part of the build.
Here's a pic after I painted it. Color is HOK brandywine with their candybase system. I also included a before shot.

I saw a couple nice ones on Hot Rod TV one morning and it reminded me of how damn cool the 64's look all P-T'd up. Speaking of 64's on tv, I want to watch that new show Jason Lee (My Name is Earl) is in...JUST TO SEE THE CAR! hahaha

The paint is House of Kolor. The color is Brandywine. It is a lot of work to apply. Two coats of black sealer, three coat of silver base, four coats of Brandywine candy base followed by three coats of clear followed by wetsanding followed by three more coats of clear.

Just did a bunch of reading, built a homebrew paint booth, bought a couple of guns and started painting. I wouldn't call it skill at this point. This was my second car. Several years ago I got burned by a shop painting my 69 Z28 and swore never again. I actually enjoy doing all the work myself. The results are not show quality but good enough for the likes of me...
