Default Paint removal help!

Hoping someone can help me with a little problem. I have powder coated brake brackets that someone painted on top of. Is there something I can use that will remove the paint but not harm the powder coat? Thanks

Did you try lacquer thinner yet. Try a small area first.

Most likely what ever you use to take off the paint will damage the powder coat below.

A citrus based paint remover may do the trick. Home depot sells it. I used it to remove some spray paint from clear powder coated aluminum and it didn't harm it.
