Default ticket in Missouri, e-traffic lawyer says they can get fixed, has anyone used them?

I picked up a ticket in Missouri on the way to MMC. I thought I was running 75 in a 70, but it turns out the my mustang has a 6mph speedo error. I got a ticket for 81 ina 70. I was trying to pay it , and somehow got on e-traffic lawyers tickets website. They lady said they are lawyers that can get the ticket reduced from a 3 pt. moving violation to 0 pt. ticket. The original fine is $109, and the Goldberg lawyer cost would be $225. Has anyone used e- ticket?

81 in a 70 is a CS ticket, unless you have a history of violations.

...anyways, I wouldnt count on getting out of a ticket. You can go to court and hope the officer doesnt appear, or if he does ask for his speedo calibration if he paced you or got you on radar on the move. If he shoes up and has the log, youre not getting out of it. Just pay the ticket and do the online traffic school if thats available in your state.

What's a CS ticket? I'm from TN. So i'm an out of state ticket. I haven't had a ticket in about 10yrs. I was hoping that Missouri didn't report back to other states. This web lawyer, boy that sounds like a dirty profession, says that they will go, and basically throw themselves to the mercy of the court, and they usually get a reduction. Iguess I should just go on and pay it. If they don't show or take care of it , I could be looking at a warrent for my arrest.
But thanks for the input SLO.

Chicken Shi... you get the idea.

If you go and you think you can schmooze the judge and prove that your speedo was incorrect, you may get out of it. Every so often an officer pisses off a judge and then its an easy win for the defendant.

Check the district / state that you got the ticket in -- Many times they'll reduce the points and fine if you pass an ON LINE TRAFFIC SCHOOL.... check it out before you do anything else. It can save you time and money... and is super easy. California has them - and I used it when I got a ticket down there.

A buddy got a ticket in Nevada on our way down to SEMA - we had an M6 and an M5 - two guys in each - and hauling some serious arse.... he got busted for 101 mph. I told him to call the district to check out "schools" -- and the clerk asks if he'd plead guilty to "equipment failure" IF he'd pay the $400+ fine.... seems they wanted the revenue more than the dishing out the punishment. He agreed and we all chipped in and paid it. I told him no f'n way I'd drive a car with faulty equipment.... LOL

I've used the "ticket bust" service out here in Ca. Similar type of service. It worked for me, but my wife tried it and it did not work for her. They way these guys work is they write a "trial by declaration" on your behalf. You pay them and send a blank signed form to them (rather unsettling in itself). It still cost me to pay them, but I did get my "bail" refunded and no points, no traffic school and no record.

I hope this helps.

I'm in MO, and I've used places like that before to get out of speeding tickets. They get it reduced to "muffler violation" or some bs like that.

You pay the service, then a fine shows up in the mail, you pay that and it's done. Easy as that.

If they say they can get it fixed, I'd believe them.

Where at in MO were you?

Thanks Guys, I guess I'll give it a shot. I was in New Madrid, MO. The cop was super nice, but not nice enough . I actually thought I was paying the ticket with my credit card, and then the lady called and told me what the deal was. She said she would cancel the deal, while got more info on the operation that they were running. Then if I wanted to I could start again. I'll let yall know what happens.
