Default Side marker lights leave or not???

I am not going to keep any orginal emblems on the car (69 camaro) anyway and like modern looks overall. Should i keep the side markers or patch the holes away now while body work is on?

I like them better with the lights removed. But it's your car, do what you like.

good choice, IMHO they do not belong on a Camaro, the style/design of these markers belong on ambulance or fire truck, even the billet ones. Now if they made them flush ,I could see them staying on,
