Default 1997 Bmw 740il

For sale 1997 BMW 740IL

120K miles
white w/ tan leather
Exterior in great shape
Interior shows some wear, but still in good shape
Power windows, locks, seats, mirrors, sunroof, rear shade, 6 disc changer in trunk

Has had the following work performed:

Intake gaskets / o-rings, coolant expansion tank, coolant sensor (all common issues with this model) all replaced in last 6k miles

Full front end rebuild (new control arms, tie rods, idler arms, etc) and front brake discs and pads done about 10k miles ago

15k miles on tires (lots of tread left)

20k miles on catalytic converter

Cam cover gaskets and plugs done 25k miles ago

Basically in the last 25k miles all of the "normal" issues with this model have been addressed. Don't buy another 740 that hasn't had these services and then spend the $4k-5k it would cost to do these services.

We really like the car, but it is a second car and we are moving to the east coast and no longer need it (will be getting a company car)

Has some very minor issues that in no way affect performance of this great car (cup holder nds fixed, one piece of trim around the door needs new clips)

runs/drives great

Kelley Blue Book puts private party "fair" value at $6900

Car is in LaJolla, CA near UTC.

Asking $5800 obo

Also possible trade toward 67-69 camaro or 65-70 mustang fastback. In trades looking for running v8 car in "driver" condition. I'll add up to $9k to the BMW for trade.

Default I am in Charlotte

Look me up when you get here. I am in the Matthews/Stallings area and my State Farm office is in Weddington.

Very nice place to live. You will not be dissapointed...some screaming deals on homes here at this time.

I'll look you up. I hope I'll be able to take advantage of one of those screaming home deals after I get slaughtered on my home here in CA.
