I had my previous '69 up to around 160 mph and the stock nose spoiler held up. That was with the OEM bracing bars installed behind it. Without those bars, I had one fly off at ~125 mph at the drag strip.

I run one with no brackets on my street racer and it folds under at 146 MPH through the traps. But does not fold under on motor runs at 126 MPH. So i see no reason why it would not hold up to a lot of speed with the brackets in place.

Why do I run no brackets? loading and unloading.

For a while I had a '69 Camaro front spoiler on my Chevelle... no damage at 165-170 mph.

I had more bracing on it though than a factory arrangement.

Got to watch what brand you buy too. Some are rather forgiving of flexing and others are pretty brittle and snap when flexed.

They come with the kit. Going to be hard to use with an aftermarket sub. I am going to install mine without as well. I want it to give instead of my front facia.

That 2nd picture reminds me... I really need to order a set of CCW Classics. Love those wheels! 18x10 and 18x11.5 will be cool...
