Detroit Speed offers the nicest I've seen.

If your car is already together, the Detroit Speed kit is probably the better choice, as it does not require removal of the headlight capsules. However if you are still putting it together, I like the kit from Retro-Electro. IMO it is a cleaner install, and a more durable set-up. Good luck.

Agreed, we just did an RS conversion and these things were slick. Highly recommended.

I can't believe I'm reading this!!

You guys must live where it's warm all the time!!

They switched the '68 over to vacuum b/c of burning out the '67 electric motor jobbers AND don't I know it!!

I unplugged mine years ago and left the doors open b/c of ice and snow!!!!

heck, I'm not even sure they still work if I was to plug them back in, it was that bad a call by GM, imho!!!

Now the Opal GT headlight flipper handle jobber I LIKE, but probably a nightmare installing it on a First Gen. Car!!

If you had experience with the vacuum POS set-ups, you would understand. Both the DSE and the Retro-Electro set-ups are much more reliable than the original 67.

No doubt! 40 years worth of technology at your disposal. Time to upgrade and close the headlight doors!

LOL
There is a certain irony to a post on a Pro-Touring website about the quality and reliability of 40 year old OEM designs. :willy:

Both the Retro-Electric and DSE pieces are far superior to either OEM designs.
