Diagram for harness+dakota digital+vintage air+painless?

Hi guys,

I'm working on a new project and this will be the first time attempting to wire up the car myself. I'm using the following components:
  • American Autowire for 1955 Chevy Pickup, full kit
  • Vintage Air Surefit with Trinary Switch
  • Dakota Digital VHX Gauges
  • Dakota Digital Fan Controller PAC-2750
  • Dakota Digital Headlight/Dome Controller PAC-1300
  • Painless Keyless/Push-Button Start 55000
  • MSD 8202 Blaster Coil
  • MSD 8563 Distributor
  • MSD 6425 Control Box
  • Revolution Electronics Fuel Pump 12003 (http://www.revolutionelectronics.com/Fuel_Pump.html)

I have attempted to draw a logical diagram of how most of the major components will connect with each other. I have used relays for high-amp components so it doesn't strain the fuse box.

Could I get some wiring experts to review my diagram and point out any issues or feedback?

Thank you in advance

I finished mine off late last year with Digital Dakota, AAW, ICE Ignition, Holley Terminator and the rest of the mod cons. Heres my wiring diagram.....don't hurt yourself laughing:)

I added a Fuel pump shut off switch in case of a hard hit with an electric fuel pump

I put a fuse block powered by the battery via a relay for accessory power. Theres always something else that needs to be added once you think your finished.

I also put a fuse power outlet under the hood (battery in the trunk) so I have a quick connection for a timing light where its needed.

I don't see a reverse switch included

Will you have a battery disconnect/ kill switch?

Dakota Digital also has provision to run a shift light, make sure you can access the module easily if you want to add at a later date or provide connections so its plug and play.

Decide on what style of connector and buy heaps, the connectors on the AAW harness aren't weather pac quality.

Thanks. Unfortunately the picture is too low resolution and the diagram is not readable.

I'm using the fuel controller; it will shut off when the engine stops.

Which fuse block? Link?

I'm using the AAW fuse block and the ACC is powered by a relay which is triggered by the Dakota Digital.

For the reverse lights? Steering column will take care of it.

No. It isn't a race car.

I'm running the Dakota Digital shift indicator and wiring it into the VHX system.

What kind did you use? Link?

I'm using the Summit branded marine/auto heat shrink connectors.
