GM Carlisle and Camaro Nationals(pictures)
I just got back from going to GM Carlisle and the Camaro Nationals so I thought I would share the few pictures that I took. Carlisle was a ghost town, hardly anybody there but I was there only on Friday. The Camaro Nationals had a pretty good turnout, with lots of nice cars.
Here's Carlisle on Friday, mid-day: http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps83d7d3b5.jpg Nice looking 67 Chevelle: http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps9ff15264.jpg Real nice 69 Camaro: http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps09ca4425.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...psa8105ffb.jpg This year they paid tribute to the Buick Grand Nationals and had some showcased in a building: http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...psf69c9f5e.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...psd5f67cf4.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps1933c57f.jpg |
Saturday morning I headed over the Camaro Nationals to check out. There was every year from 67 to new. Neat little show:

Had the crate motor, custom everything, and a price tag of over $100K! http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps67fc3a0f.jpg One last cool thing was on my flight home there was about 30 Veterans from Nevada. They were part of this group called Honor Flight where they meet up and go do activities and visit things. They got to board first and when we landed they got a round of applause in the airport. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...psa3e33adc.jpg Not a ton to report but just thought I'd share! |

Amazing job on the car! It was one of my favorites. Wish I would have known you were on here, we could have met up! I wasn't able to make it over to the AutoX course for rides. I glanced over in that direction but didn't actually walk over there. -Tim |
