Seen a couple of these in person...it is pretty ridiculous how nasty they sound...not to mention the time and craftsmenship that go into them.

Why doesn't someone put on in an R/C car? Guess that will have to be a project soon for me lol..

Conley has been doing that for years: http://www.conleyprecision.com/

He used to offer both a Cobra and the Bucket, now it's only the Bucket.

Plenty of scratchbuilt 1/4 scale cars running the scale V-8's too.

While the scale V-8's are cool, these are in a league of their own in terms of complexity. They're all running models too. I often doubt the sanity of the people who design and build models at this complexity level. :P

Napier Deltic, 18 cylinder opposed cylinder, 3 crankshafts, 2-stroke supercharged diesel. Very neat engine design.

Rolls Royce Eagle, 24 cylinder, sleeve valves.

Rolls Royce Merlin, 12 cylinder. Built by the same person who built the 1/5 scale Eagle.

I think there's a video of the 1/5 scale Merlin running on Youtube.
