thinking about a Chevelle..
Ok, I think I have my Trans Am project in the works so I was just looking around at some other cars. I have always liked the way the '70-'72 Chevelle looks. I have come across a few nice ones for sale. What is the largest tire you can put on one without mini-tubbing? Anything I should be aware of on these cars?

You sure do think a lot....

I'm not 100% sure but I believe 295-315 depending on rolling the rear lip.

305 for sure but there is some talk here or on Pro-Touring of a 315 but a 315 would be pushing it.Brandon

Do the chevlle orange with black stripes and some awesome 3pc black center wheels  , well that's the color I wanna do one atleast. I wanna say there was a guy on here just a few weeks ago that had 22's all the way around on the car. He was selling the rims off of it...wasn't tubbed... |
Thanks, I just like the way they look but most of my other cars are sports cars that handle, I need to go drive one to make sure I like it.. I found this one on E-bay and my wife fell in love with it. I would have to convert it to a 5 spd and maybe change the wheels. What do you guys think it's worth?
