Hey Guys. Here's the final renderings. I need your opinions.
Do you prefer the rear panel to be blacked out or red ? Thanks again !!

Sales@Dutchboys 05-03-2006 05:31 AM

Do you have a pic with it red?

XcYZ 05-03-2006 05:34 AM

Black.

Speedster 05-03-2006 05:35 AM

No, have to use your imagination.
Well, not for those kind of thoughts...

Payton King 05-03-2006 06:01 AM

Speedster 05-03-2006 08:25 AM

Thanks guys. Looks like another landslide decision and you are the pros !!

jonny51 05-03-2006 09:32 AM

I agree,go with the black.

Kris Horton 05-03-2006 10:21 AM

Glad everyone is saying black! That was something I really liked on the car. Gonna show these folks any higher res shots Bruce? I know you've got em!

Kris

Speedster 05-03-2006 11:09 AM

Hey Kris -
I gotta find out from Scott or one of the moderators how I can do that.
All of my uploads are size or pixel limited. Do you know the way to do it?

Kris Horton 05-03-2006 11:12 AM

You can host the images at imageshack.us and then image tag them. If all else fails, you can e-mail them to me (I'm at work right now, so I don't have them handy) and I can post them up for you.

Kris

XcYZ 05-03-2006 11:30 AM

Bruce, I have the attachment size limited to 1024x768 and no bigger than 160kb. Just size your images below that and you can attach them. Another option, as Kris pointed out, is to use some sort of free image hosting and link them here.

Also, if it's just a few images, I can FTP them to a temp directory here on the website and link to them for you.

Hdesign 05-03-2006 11:32 AM

black

Kris Horton 05-03-2006 11:34 AM

Hey Scott, I'll just e-mail you the images I was going to put up for Bruce. They're not super hi-res and are all around 190K, so if you can host them, awesome!

Kris

XcYZ 05-03-2006 11:38 AM

Sure thing, Kris. Send them to [email protected]

Thanks.

Sales@Dutchboys 05-03-2006 12:18 PM

I think black would look killer.

Black for sure.....or maybe even paint it to match the front, you could have a little red all the way around the black and then come down in the center the same way the nose piece does so it would have two black panels instead of one large.....just a thought but either way go black because you know what they say.....you'll never go back

markss28 05-04-2006 07:11 AM

I say go with black with a little black and maybe even some black but the color that you really could go with to make it pop would have to be black.

srh3trinity 05-04-2006 04:16 PM

I vote for flat black or gloss black. It will really make those unique 'Bird taillights pop.

Speedster 05-04-2006 05:42 PM

Thanks for the feedback guys. The honest opinions and suggestions are great.

And today the raised "Super 400" hood came in today to clear that engine. Wow. Truly impressive glasswork. You'd think it was a metal hood.

Also, the engine is going back on the dyno tomorrow for some final tuning. We'll get way better video this time.

Kendall Burleson 05-04-2006 08:00 PM

Black it break up the red :wow:

fennerford 05-05-2006 06:18 AM

beautiful car! i'd go with the blacked out tail

Speedster 05-06-2006 05:03 AM

Wow. I am surprised by how many like the black. Looks like a landslide decision. Thanks again for all your input. You rock!

Beast2831 05-08-2006 12:29 AM

Go black!
