goodmark camaro bodies?
 
anyone heard anything good or bad? i am fixing to sell my 65 chevelle project for something. either a done car or a 2012 camaro but this goodmark thing might also be a possibility. thanks for any info guys.

I didn't know Goodmark made a Camaro body. I know Dynacorn does but the cost of a bare shell is almost what a real Camaro is so I see no reason to buy a car with no vin and then buy 1 million little pieces to try and make it a car.

these are actual 69's with a vin. they take the old car and replace everythig besides the cowl and a pillars i believe. they come rolling. 10 bolt in the rear though.

They had one on display at SEMA. They buy shells and refurb them as needed. They sell them with VIN's and titles. Not sure in the price.

So for 20K you get a rolling shell. For 20K you can find a good solid car without all the repo parts.

What Charlie said, for 20K you could find a complete car that is all stock but very rust free. Than as Charlie stated early you don't need to buy all the little parts that will will cost way more than you could ever think.

Although, it is better to buy a car complete. I think my bodyman will be selling his 1969 Z28 soon. Actually, he has several cars that he probably be selling.

they actually replace all the metal needed to on original 69 camaro's. except for the cowl and a pillars. that way the vin is original and it dont have to be registered as a kit as the dynacorn bodies do.

AMD is a distributor of parts. They MIGHT manufacture some of what they sell, but as far as I know they sell many of the same parts as other distributors. Some parts may be made in the USA, some are made over seas. I don't see any claims made by them that say all of thier parts are made in the USA or that they are the actual maker of those parts.
I am not bashing them at all. I hear good things about what they sell and I will be using parts from them on my own car. :cheers:

You can try contacting Mike at MCC but I believe he is no longer doing Camaro shells...

Just to clear this up,all genuine AMD parts have part number that starts with a digit,if part number starts with a letter X,it's Golden Legion part
