Project LS7 Solstice (HRE wheels, Brembo Brakes)

Hey guys-

Just wanted to toss up a few pictures that I figured this board would appreciate. Not exactly a G Machine, But incorporating a lot of the same parts and repowered a small 4 cylinder into a V-8 Terror.

625hp LS7 with full drysump
Brembo six piston front brakes, four piston rear
HRE Wheels
Custom Exhaust
Norms fiberglass components
KW Coilovers

Sweet. I love an LS in anything that it does not belong in.

awr68 01-07-2010 06:46 PM

Very cool Joe! Nicely done!!

XcYZ 01-07-2010 06:53 PM

Joe, that's a bad ass setup. What's it like to drive?

Are you jigged up to make the headers? Can I call up for a set if I were doing this swap?

70rs 01-07-2010 07:16 PM

That looks like it would be a blast to drive. Nice looking swap!

Dang....that's just cool:thumbsup:

I love it, but please promise you will respect the power. A local 63 year old man, who had 40 years of racing experience, lost his life recently in this exact type of setup.

JKnight 01-08-2010 09:38 AM

Very cool. Love the stainless work. The front body kit has a strong F430 influence.

Scorpner 01-08-2010 09:42 AM

I like it a lot as well.

Nice looking, nice craftsmanship, and great packaging !

Where did you mount the coil packs ?

Whoever attempts to run against that on the street will get a huge suprise !

I loved the one Stielow had on Power Tour 07? Badd little bitch!

Tweaked Zed 01-08-2010 02:25 PM

I think I just wet myself.....

Nice job guys. Sits perfect too.

On the 2006 Power tour, Hot Rod magazine had one with an LS engine, that was totally badass, but yours looks way better:thumbsup: . It came screaming by me on the highway during one of the legs and the sound coming out of that thing made you take notice.

little car with lots of power, what could be wrong with that?

66LS7 01-08-2010 06:20 PM

Wow

That thing looks awesome!!

Is there a build thread anywhere on this car or the one Stielow did/drove? I'd love to see some details on what all was modified or changed to make this work?
