It seems like you know exactly what you want when you see it… and you just haven’t yet… very very smart to get a generous sized spray out and see it in different light and times of day.

I'm open to a tweaked anything at this point.

Dammit Jody, I thought we had settled on the anthracite brown. :P

The anthracite brown will look great. However, so does the rendering. Given you have a color in your head, I say mix until you get it the way you envisioned. Good luck!

Thanks guys. The Anthracite is a beautiful color and will look incredible. It's just getting over a 50 year old memory in my head. Browns are tricky.

No updates on the car, but I did finally pull the trigger on a new lift. I left my last one at our house when we sold it and moved, seemed like a lot of work to move it lol. Been working on a few cars for friends and working off the ground sucks.

Picked this one up and assembled it by myself in about 6 hours. When doing one of these an engine hoist is your best friend as the rails are HEAVY. :confused59: I only have 10' ceilings in the new shop so I can't go all the way up to be able to stand under the car, so now I'm looking for a good rolling chair that's really stable. My cheap Harbor Freight stool has been reliable, but it'll "reliably" pitch you on your a$$ without warning if it hits a crack or small rock. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I like the Vyper chair but it's pricey.

Knock a hole and put a recess in the ceiling. :)

That was my original thought but apparently doing that with attic trusses is not as easy, and a fair amount of money. I have a full attic above the shop for storage.

Go for the Vyper chair. Its worth the coin, I use mine constantly.

Well this is the top of the hill for a low lift. Also you can update the Trusses with Sissor trusses ..
