Was wondering the same, cars with fitech, how much of a cam these engines have, how much vacuum are those engines pulling.

Just put the fitech on my 67 nova with a decent size cam, I pull about 10 on vacuum at idle. The start up has been great, and mid throttle / crusing is much smoother. I'm getting a little detonation under heavy load or full throttle..

Has anyone done any data logging? It seems to be adding a lot of timing under load.

This isn't directed at just you so please don't take offense.
I'm an EFI proponent. But I wonder how much better a lot of these Carbed applications would've run initially had the owners just spent a couple of hundred bucks on a wideband. Hmmmmmm.

I put mine on a wide band and had my carb tuned on a dyno.. so I did that step =) the carb ran great a WOT but like crap around town.

I just pulled the spacer I had on with the carb and adjusted the timing manually. I need to get some more street miles on it first before final assessment.
