Hi all!
Iīve been looking for a second gen Camaro for my uncle for a while.
Maybe I found one know!?
Iīm not that good at decoding the second genīs, so Iīm hoping for you guys!
The papers says itīs a ī73, but the seller says itīs a ī70, can someone help me to say what it is?
Vin is IQ87H3N131733.
Tag says (I think, pretty hard to read):
ST 73 IFQ87 053935 BDY
TR 778 A51 6868 PNT
HRZ 813
Could It be a Z-28, RS etc and what year is It?
Iīm in a hurry kind of, so If someone knows Iīd really appreciate It.
And of course, what do you guys think of it?

IMO, not clean enough to be worth 20g
Get him down to $12K, there can't be many buyers for a 73 Camaro where you are at...could there?

You should probably be able to decode the tags over at www.nastyz28.com. To be exact, try here... http://www.nastyz28.com/camaro/camaro73.html

This is not a LT Wrong code plus it's missing the trim. BTW the SS was dropped in 73 for the LT you could get a RS/LT in 73.
Vehicle Identification : 1Q87
First digit is GM Division: 1 = Chevrolet
Second digit is model series: Q = Sport Coupe S = Type LT Coupe
Digits 3 & 4 are body type: 87 = 2dr. coupe
For more information go to the www.NastyZ28.com The best place for 2nd Gen info.

There's a nicer one for sale in the "FOR SALE" section here.. asking $15k I think..
Of course you would have to ship it.. I bet that's pricey.

Hi and thankīs for all your help!
Now I know Itīs a ī73 and also only a sportcoupe.
Maybe Iīll try to make him drop the price īcause I kinda like It, but It feels like something is wrong.
There are some nice second gens for sale here in Sweden from time to time, but thereīs also a lot of hungry buyers.
So, what do you think, buy It for a lot less price or go look for another one?
