Who's going this year, where is everyone planning to stay, anything Lat-g planned ??
Searched and saw that some of you have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at the airport - and some of you have stayed at the Holiday Inn on campus of OSU. Any other preferred lodging/experience ?

I stayed at the Holiday Inn at OSU last year. Decent place, clean and close to the venue. Great show, lots of cool cars there.

We'll have a group of people there. I can't remember the hotel that we are staying at though. Dad booked the rooms. I'll post up where we'll be as soon as I can track him down.
Hopefully I'll see some of you there. I'll be without a car this year. I really enjoyed the old Galaxy Wagon last year.
Later,

I will be there for my first visit. I will be bringing my GTO
We're loading up tonight and rolling out tomorrow (wed.) morning.
Quite disappointing as our Mustang project yielded some last minute issues and will not be making the trip. That also imposed on my time needed to finish up my wife’s nova and so that wont be making it either. Not to mention one of my trailers being totaled last week by a drunk driver.
We will however be bringing my customers green '64 (pro-street / touring) Impala.
See you out there.

Thanks for the pics Rodz. Marty and Mick must have taken a couple thousand that will get added later. I took very few car pics (there are just WAY too many cars at that place - but took a ton of little detail shots.
Spent three days at the show and got to meet many of the Lat crew in person. Just a blast getting to put faces to all the posts - great group of people and very funny guys in person.
Rodger's GTO and Paul's Nova were awesome in person and these guys and their cars represent us well !! Nice work gents and congrats !!
There was a whole pack of Lat-G members that got together. We missed a few of you guys who attended and we didn't get to catch back up to you. We should always pick a time and spot for everyone to rally and intro. I had to bail out early this afternoon to get back to indy - but I plan to stay the entire weekend next year to drool over Rodger and Marty's trucks and John's Nova and any other Lat-G rides what make the trip ! - and get to meet/greet more of you guys !!
Jim
PS, someone needs to ask Kenny about the ticket he got late Friday night.... :D

Ah, that would be my ticket at 8:30 PM because we needed some wind through the windows thanks to Kenny's gastro-intestinal system.....
Travis described it as a gargling fart if that helps anyone imagine the desperate measures I needed to go to!
Special thanks to Marty for pitching in!
Other than that, it was a great show and we had a blast! I never miss that show or SEMA. There's way too much going on there to miss that one.

I highly recommend people spend a couple days at events like these. I'm like most folks I guess - I go for the entire day and try to see all the vendors, cars, displays and such - leave late and drag my tired sun burnt tail back home, but that just doesn't do the deal justice.
This time was I spent 4 days there with a lot of you guys and got to really 'experience' the whole thing. Great discussions, really examined some builds, met a bunch of new people who share this passion - and attended some of the after show stuff. I recommend everyone take an annual pilgrimage to a car mecca for some much needed rejuvenation of the sole!
DID NOT want to come back to work this morning....

Let me tell you the smell was horrific.

Hey Jason,
When the guys introduced you - I didn't make the connection to who you are from the site or your work - just heard your first name. Were you hanging with Travis and Kenny Saturday morning at Roger's GTO ? (I think you were in a white t-shirt with a red logo - but that doesn't really narrow it down much in a sea of white t-shirts....) Wish I had spent some time talking to you sir !

I could go more in depth on the description but I would make some people throw up in there mouth. He blamed it on the green peppers from lunch time I think it was more like something he ate a month ago......it was awful.

No, it was someone with you though. He was slightly taller then marty - looks like he spends about as much time in the gym as you and marty - and was in the group talking with us when Roger asked you if you were on steroids - just before Kenny provided graphic details of the previous nights ticket event.

Hey Jim, I was with Travis and Kenny off and on all weekend but it wasn't me on Saturday. I wish I had met you though. I want to hear all about the project.
We really need to have a Lat-g meeting place there next year because I met a bunch of guys and it seems to be less than half of the members there!
Incredible show and well worth the 2400 mile plane ride. You can't get further from Columbus in the lower 48 than I am and I would never miss it so the rest of you guys have no excuse! Lat-g get together in 2008! Who's going?
