I have decided to chang directions yet again with my car....I am going to step up and buy a chassis as I feel it is the right thing to do for my project. This is what I have done and what it has on it......if anyone is interested in the whole thing or peices of it please PM me.
A-body chassis:
-ART tubular control arms(lowers modifed for adjustable ride height with the bags for chassis tunning)
-Spring pockets cut out to lay bag over at a better angle and for ample clearance
-front lower crossmember cut done to set car closer to the ground when air is deflated
-Drop spindles
-Wilwood 12" brakes-drilled and slotted
-Custom x member with integrated trans mount(not fully welded yet would allow for different trans
-Rear frame rails moved in 1.5 in and re shaped to allow the car to sit lower-would require cutting the floor
-3 link rear started and tacked in measurements and CA location not 100% YET
:could change the rear suspension to a 4 bar pretty easy, or tri 4 bar
-stange rear housing with 31 spline axles
-wilwood brakes
I realize that this ia custom set up that not many people will have intrest in but i thought I would give someone a chance at it before I threw it away and parted it out
PM for price as I am very flexible about how much goes with the frame or what peices you might be interested in.

well we have finished 6 cars since I started the project.........all 6 with mag coverage so I have been a bit busy. Personal projects are on the back burner when there is money to be made.

I figured you were going with an AME Chassis. Are you going to weld it in or keep the body removeable?
I'm so jealous! Good luck with the sale of the current chassis.

hey Travis, try putting on the chevelles.com board. I wish we strated with something like that. I could have bought a schwartz chassis loaded for what we have in ours between straightening, boxing ,smoothing and everything else. Goodluck with the sale.

Well I was gonna post that I had an original chevelle frame to sell from the current project we just started, But then I see this in the classifieds. I will never sell my Junk now.
Well, we're building 2, 67 chevelles here really soon, we are laying out the first one right now. We are working on becoming a Tube chassis chevelle factory here soon it seems. I have never done an AM frame but is it really gonna speed things up that much for ya, with all that back tracking? I really liked your car.

I just think that it will help both the resale and the overall performance of the car. With the lookim trying to get out of the car a stock frame just wont cut it. Wanna make me a tube chassis while you at it????? Since you will already have it jigged up? haha
