69 Z for sale, 4th week of October car, no X codes.

Not Sold!!! Price drop to 19,500.00. I am moving and gotta move it.

My 69 Z-28, 4th week October(no x codes) car.

Motor is a 30 over 350 with every thing Chevrolet had to offer:

70 Hi Nickle block, no core shift (none), line honed, slightest decking it could recieve (had the pins replaced in the decks afterward).

New standard/standard chevy bowtie crank. Fluid Damper Harmonic Balancer.

Fresh Pink Rods, new 30 over TRW 10:1 flat tops.

TRW rings, Childs and Alberts Rod and Main Bearings, Cam Dynamics Timing set to include Cam, Chain and Gears, Lifters(Hydralic)and Push Rods.

Motor is balanced.

New Oil Pan, windage tray, Melling Oil Pump.

LT-1 heads (same as 69 Z heads-late model double humps with bolt pattern) completely redone with new hardened seats, Stainless Valves, Z-28 springs (new), roller tip rockers under correct finned Valve covers with crossed flags.

Early 69 Z-28 intake with Winters mark, correct DZ Carburetor, Divorce Choke, every bolt, clip, spring, Wire Looms, intake bolts, valve cover bolts, thermostat housing and bolts have the correct markings. All pulleys are deep groove from the alternator, water pump, power steering and Crank Pulley, correct Fan and clutch. New Belts, shroud, Radiator.

New Clutch. pressure plate, throwout bearing. M-21 is rebuilt with 2500 miles on it. It was shifting poorly so I rebuilt the shifter and it shifts like new money. Shifter is 69 Z also.

Mechanically, it has disc brakes in front(originals rebuilt). 12 bolt is long gone and currenty sports a 3:55 10 bolt. Wheels are new 15 X 7's with new rings and centers, new BFG T/A radials, 235/60-15.

It has a Flowmaster exaust with chrome tips, headers that are coated, no leaks.

Electrically, it has new engine and front harnesses, new alternator and starter. New Voltage regulator. Windshield wiper motor rebuilt.

Has full cowl induction set up and is functional, all correct. Has molded Hood pad (the expensive one).

Interior is Black Standard and completely new from door panels front and rear, to Tilt wheel with Rosewood (repo), console gauges, tach, clock, speedo. New dash pad, vents, rebuilt heater controls (all works) new knobs across the dash, missing correct radio. New heater core.

Every piece of chrome is either new or rechromed from the bumpers to the gills, rocker chrome, rear bumper guards, tail light lenses, side marker lights, wheel surround chrome, front grille, headlight buckets, front running/blinker lights. Front and rear spoilers are new and correctly installed. All the window/trunk and door rubber is new.

Downside is it has a nice 20/20(20 mph and 20 feet away) paint job, Marina Blue with white stripes(not the right name for the color, but you get the picture) was originally Red. It has no rust in the trunk or floor pans and has slight bubbles behind the rear wheel wells. The passenger rear quarter was hit slightly at one point and repaired (If you lay on your back at the rear corner you can kinda tell)

All GM Sheet metal other than the front lower valence and the repop hood. Both were missing when I purchased the car and began rebuilding it as a driver car a few years ago. I have put maybe 2500 miles on the car since rebuild and it has never seen the rain other than my being caught in the rain when I was trying to get home.

It is not a perfect car, but it fires right up and wil smoke em in all gears. Looks absolutely correct other than the headers.

I use Amoco unleaded premium and it never complains. Lots of Tourque and HP, gets waves and hollers every where it goes. Hate to let it go.

Why don't you finish the shifter, install the console and gauges and bring it up here next weekend. IF I did not have RTH3 going on, I would scarf it up, and make a few bucks on it. Best weekend of the year to sell it. For 18K I will take the time and gamble and sell it myself.....
