Hi, greetings from Venezuela! Chevrolet settled here in 1948, manufacturing many of itīs models until today. The mine is a numbers matching 1971 Chevelle, with Hotchkis rear arms and springs, Global West front upper arms, TH700 and Cragar SS 17īs. If you want to know a little about the venezuelan assembled Chevelles, check my website www.chevelleven.com

Sorry for the bad pictures, my camera got drowned!

Chevelleven:

It's cool to hear from Venezuela. I was in Caracas about 16 years ago and had a great time. It was a very fun place to visit.

Just curious:

What is it like for the people of Venezuela with your current President?

Good, Bad or ??? I know he is not a fan of the US?

Is it hard to get part for your American cars?

Hi Ty!

Well... one still can have a great time in Caracas and everywhere in Venezuela (thanks God).

The guy is a genuine A.H., heīs a fan of Castro and mostly nobody here is a fan of both them.

Except for some old body parts, here you can find almost any part you need for american, japanese and european cars. Venezuelans love cars! Here there are Camaros, Mustangs, Chevelles, Tuners, exotics and even weird things like Geely and Chana chinese cars or Tata indian cars.

You can drive any car you want at 4 cts/lt (0,15 US$/Gal) the fuel, but have to live everyday watching the guy on TV (nothingīs perfect)

Still a great country, open to friends like all you at Lateral G-net!

Welcome to the board! You've got a cool project. It's nice to hear the opinion of a real citizen rather than the media!
