I know this is not the forum for this, but I wanted maximum exposure. I am in the final stages of wiring my car and I am looking for sources of wire wrap.

My engine harness is done in the black plastic stuff and was wondering if there are other options. The plug ends are already on so I cannot use the shrink wrap style.

Options?

well we use heat shrink on a lot of under hood sections of wire but I have been looking at this stuff.

I saw some cool stuff somewhere not too long ago. Not the cheap plastic tubing, but something a lot nicer shown on HP TV or V8TV or somewhere like that a week or so ago.

Yes, we used the Techflex stuff on the Royal Sport Camaro - the episode is on for another week. It's really nice.

You can use it after you've put the ends on the wire... the TechFlex expands to 150% of its natural size when you compress it longitudinally, so you can slide it over the terminals. Then just work some heat shrink over it. Or, you can also flip the ends inside for a clean termination.

Here's the epsiode: I think it's in the 3rd segment (3rd video box going down):

I ordrered up one of their kits. I will give you a report when it gets here.

Thanks for the video link. My cable company does not carry V8 TV and I enjoyed watching the segment.

Thank you, Payton! We now have nearly every V8TV segment on the web, so even those who don't get the show can watch on the web.
