I've been searching around for a cheap price on a crate LS7 engine for a while and this latest offering on E-bay I believe to be a fraud. May 16th,2007 user history with zero feedback and he/she re-used pcitures from a previous E-bay LS-7 listing I bid on. I've e-mailed the seller for additional pics but I'd be surprised If I get any. :thmbsdwn: Ebay item#LS7 crate engine (250122097761) -=Mike

No feedback because hes only been a member for 2 weeks.
Account was established May 16th.
That engine at NO RESERVE is a risk for true Ebay auctioneer and would never be put up without a reserve.
He also mentions that its in his warehouse, but pics look like my garage at home.
My advise is as the saying goes:

"If it sounds too good to be true, IT IS"

Yea, but I'll see if he is full of crap, sorry, how full of crap he is. My intent is to start a dialog with him and then drag him behind the family station wagon.

I love those idiot scammers. Its so much fun to bid for a fantasy camaro cool 1 million bucks when there was "bay it now" for 3000 if contaced to yahoo address first  It was up few days then ebay shut it down.

The username is "SandraJoyner", that sounds female.

It could be a mad wife/girlfriend trying to hurt and get back at her husband/boyfriend for spending money on a stupid engine.

When she gets the money she spends them all on new shoes:rofl:

There was a woman doing the same over here a few years ago. The guy had bought a 42" plasmascreen, and she advertised it as "who ever comes first gets it for free". Just to get back at him.

I like how he made it a "private listing". That way no one can contact the 10 morons that bid on it to warn them.

Too bad, really. There's no way eBay can pull the auction because you can't prove that it's fake. He'll probably get away with it and some poor sap will be out a lot of money.

Good chance someting smells bad on that deal, But the only payment he will take is paypal on credit card, so you could do a charge back if you had to. To make people aware of another scam, I wont take paypal, I use to, and a guy purchased a 1800.00 trans from me and two months later did a charge back, I sent all paperwork to paypal and they still gave the guy his money back. His reason was no answer! Now if you use a charge card at my business and try a charge back, card service will send me a letter, all you do is fax or mail proper charge and they wont issue a charge back. I went legal on this and found paypal did not fallow under federal banking laws because it was only a business not a bank.. just think about that all the money they exchange every day and assume no responsability of your funds.. This has been a few years back but I dont wont and never will accept any funds on paypal. But on a high dollar item Thats how I like to pay.

wait a minute, the guy kept the trans and got his money back? I have a situation that I could use a "charge back" on. I bought an item from a guy and it didn't work. Well I returned the item and was expecting my money back and the guy says he never got it. Well 2 weeks roll by and I noticed that the guy's ebay account was closed. So I file a dispute with paypal. Still waiting on them to decide what to do. How does this charge back stuff work?

If you paid by credit card you just contact your credid card company and do a charge back on your card, Yea the jerk kept the trans and my money he never would respond to my emails. I was out, I still sell alot of stuff some real expensive but I will only take check or money order and I always hold for clearing.
