Correct. 2nd gen camaros, and some other GM cars of the same era. I have a new set if you are interested. I have decided to go with another look. The driver's side is remotely operated (manual), and the passenger side is not remote.

Those appear to be the Chevelle mirrors '74-? I'm using '77 Chevelle mirrors. The Camaro mirrors are shorter and mount differently. I started with second gen camaro mirrors but didn't like the way they mounted so I got the Chevelle mirrors...

Thanks for the info!! Is the difference between chevelle mirrors and 2 gen at the mounting pad? 2 gen mirrors needs "mounting bracket" and Chevelle mirros mount via 2 bolts ?

Yes, that is the biggest differance. The Camaro mirrors base is a little shorter and to me the mirror body looks to be sized differently as well.

Will these mirrors mount directly into the first gen camaro without any modifications or is some fab work required?

reshaping (grinding) the base to the camaro door has to be done in order for them to mount correctly. It's a little tricky but mostly just takes time. I think they mount better on the '69 over the '67-8 door as the profile is a little different.

Bowtieracing, do you have any pics of you mirrors? I'm having a hell of a time getting mine to fit.
