Steve,
Is that the one on East Dublin Granville Road? North of the fairgrounds. More importantly the one they do the burnouts in front of. If it is we will be at the same one. We are getting there Thursday around dinner time. Maybe we will see you guys.

HRBS
05-24-2007, 06:25 AM
No... we are staying at the one on Lane Ave. Maybe its more like 2 mins from the show field. Its across the street from the OSU stadium. Its a 10 min drive to where the "action" is in Dublin. Since its in the OSU area it has a bunch of cool bars with college age waitress’s :unibrow:
We'll be up where the action is for sure.... that should be the Stang's maiden voyage !
We're rollin in Wednesday night.

Color(s)...
Interior too ! (just kidding)
Looks pretty nice Paul !
I like Kris's work.
I think I speak for most here when i say
"I cant wait to see the whole car !"

Actually my baby is coming home to NJ from Ohio tomorrow.
We're repainting the entire car for Columbus.
The owner had a little "mishap" scratch on the door and the color was near impossible to match. He (and I) are not happy with the "blending" that was done. So hes bringing it back to me to redo the entire car.
Thats truely the only way to repair a "scratch" on a pearl or metal flake car.

I hope you dont have to repair a panel, Paul, that "Prowler" ..... I mean custom color can be a pain in the A... !

Sales@Dutchboys
05-24-2007, 02:51 PM
lol Thanks

Kris does great! work. I honestly not trying to brag but I think that His best work that Ive seen him do is in my car.

My dad is coming home tomorrow from being gone for 9 weeks and we are getting back on the car.

Well funny you say that, lol Their is a panel that is going to be repainted on the car! lol im lucky my dad is a painter!:)

visiting you shortly.

Hope the car is together for the 2nd time, 3rd time or 4th time? We have all been there. What counts is how it looks in the end... :unibrow:

I guess I will have to shoot some spy photos for the Lateral-g.net group.

Paul

What did you seal your studs with? Going to have to pull them, and re-seal. Ouch. Bolts seal easier, due to more force on the threads from torquing them down.

Get that fixed asap, and dont run it anymore. It'll eat an engine real quick.

Thanks,

Travis we were all set to do a LS2 and while my dad was down at DSE for a little over 8 weeks when he got back we only had a few weeks to redo the engine conpartment and install another engine.

Doing a LS engine would require fabing some headers and some other stuff to make it fit so it ended up not working out

Sorry

Hey Paul,

The car came out great man ! Very well done, clean and straight as an arrow sir !!

Nice to get to meet you and your dad. Of course I'm still pissed you have such an awesome car at such a young age (what are you like 12 or 13 ??) - I was driving crap at that age man. But it helps when your dad is a car guy. My dad was a carpenter and thought cars were 'tool haulers'. You are one lucky guy and we're all proud of your effort !

NOW can we get some finish pics !!!!

Nice Duece Paul! Definitely one of the nicest I've seen. What suspension are you running front/rear? Also what are the front seats out of? Thanks, Steve.

Thanks Steve,

The front is a Chassisworks setup and the rear is a TCI with Varishocks

the seats are the one Krist Kustoms sells, he also did my interior.

Thanks Jeff,

I really glad we ended up not doing body color in the engine bay.

We are hoping to kinda do our thing here soon, but were going to see how it works.

Paul,

Car looks awesome, great job. Do you have any pics of how the exhaust is run, I know there has a been a lot of talk about how to do it with the TCI kit and get it over the axle. How does she ride on the street? Again, beautiful car, enjoy.

Sorry that I have got back to you sooner, I just got back from Super Chevy.

The exhaust with the TCI 4-link was not very fun, you have to run your mufflers up in front, and its a VERY tight fit going over the drive shaft loop.

Your exhaust guy will not like you! lol

Any more ?s just let me know

Not sure on the question. But I think I see what your getting at.

The reason why I wanted the engine bay like that is to center case the engine. Make it the focal point. Like a Jewel in the Jewelry box effect.

The interior...Well I didnt think that black would look that good in this car with the color I picked.
