Any word on the availability of the tech article for the LS7 install. I have not seen any new information regarding that article.

Thanks,
Jason

Jason, no, not yet. But there are enough of us on the site doing an LS7, we could easily put something together.

What specifically are you looking to find out?

Thanks, I'm just looking for general information as far as what is different from LS1. I had already researched that aspect and now I'm not sure of course. I am only interested in the LS7 because of my perceived superior reliability as opposed to a modded LS1. I may be just full of hot air and misinformation. Just want a motor that will start every time, even when hot, and has similar power to my current 427 big block. I have to admit there is the irrational reasoning also because of the 7.0L mystique. Anyway, just being nosey and thought if I could read about it without bothering anyone it would be easier for everyone.

Thanks for the help.

Jason, I'll be putting the LS7 article back online this weekend.

I know what you're saying about going with the LS7 for reliabilty reasons. The C6ZO6 has a 7k redline, runs mid to low 11's and has a factory warranty. Extremely amazing, really.

Have you considered something like a 402 LS2? There are lots of combinations available for LS motors, and the L92 heads are the real deal.

I haven't looked into any of the LS2 set-ups. I did all my research, pertaining to LS1s, before my wife got pregnant and I lost my job. Now that I'm back on my feet, doing a job I enjoy now  , I have moved the car back to the reality list. So you can say I've been out of the loop for about 16 months.

Tracy,
I'm doing a 69 Camaro vert and was wondering if you have some pictures underhood of the oil tank location with the cocktail shakers? How about the airfilter location and intake tube? I'm trying to get everything here all thats left is the intake, filter so when I can get on it I can just attack it and not have to wait on parts.
Thanks,
Mike
