Thanks for all the props guys!! Very much appreciated & honored. Now where is my copy??

Would have replied earlier - but haven't been online this week. New job, slammed and haven't had time to catch up with everybody.

Thanks again-
Brent

Congratulations! I'm guessing you already picked out the spot in the house where the framed copy will be hung, right?

As a matter of fact I have!! I actually have talked with Jegs marketing rep. They are sending out 20 copies. He also said he will have one autographed by all the Jegs which I think is pretty cool. Especially the fact I"m a diehard Drag Racing fan where their roots are heavily established.

So Brent, how do they choose the cover cars? Did they remember it from SEMA and approach you and or are you friends with someone on the inside? I remember when Malitude was on the cover and now this...very cool for our little PT hobby!!!

Thanks Anthony!! Long story short, when Rich Chenet shot the car for PHR, he also shot some pics for other mags. He mentioned that he was going to submit to JEGS and I signed a release at that time. So they have had the pics fopr along time and now decided to use them. Rich contacted me 2 weeks ago wanting a tech sheet on the car for them, so I know it was coming out. Obviously the catalog was already in production at that time, so there is no info about the car. No big deal. I know it's my car and people who have seen it know it's mne. I'm still blown away. Talk about circulation numbers..they had about 750,000 copies made!! So when I requested some copies he said don't be shy - there is plenty!!

Thanks again for the props!! No doubt it is cool see that the car is still well received. Ricochet was a such a huge undertaking and first time to build a car of that magnitude. All the accolades that came with it was something I never expected nor forget.

And Steve (68LS2) One of these days I'll get some pics of the 55 your way. Just isn't where I would like it at this time but will keep you informed as it slowly progresses...

Very cool Brent. I'm up in the desert visiting my folks for Mother's Day and saw the latest Jegs catalog sitting on their kitchen table and said "that car looks mighty familiar..." :D

Damn Kris where you been...long time no talky!!

I've been around, but mostly just been really busy with work and life in general. I hope to be posting more regularly here though, I've missed you guys!

Anyway, enough about me for now...I don't want to hijack the thread. :)

and your still a nobody to them  We had the cover for a while, but it's cool to have your car on millions of peoples door steps. So GRATS! That's a huge honor!
