On May 19th, from 10-2pm we are having an open house party. We will be showing off some of the current projects. We will be showing off the the new showroom/ office. We should also have one pretty exciting project to show off on that day, Maybe.......

We are located off the 99 fwy in bakersfield, california. About 1.5 hours from LA and 1.5 hours from Fresno

It should be a good time, we should even have T shirts and hats for sale, believe that or not.

Hey Rodger,
Are you going to have that "front wheel drive" truck there?

We decided to actually make it all wheel drive since the front was already done and all we have to do in the rear is install half shafts and it would be rear wheel drive also, man Why did we not think of that sooner.

You guys should come up, or donate a set of wheels as a door prize.

That is the plan... not steak and lobster, hot dogs and some sodas, we usually have a pretty large turn out. So you better come about early for food.

Your one to say, that you need pics. I hear people beggin to see your car so much I'm beginning to think you may not even have one. Or it is riddler contender? We might be able to work some trading on pics of you "SUPPOSED" for some top secret pics of Johns. But we have to get the work done to be able to show you what we have in our hand.

There we go i thought he was the selfish pic boy. Even better would be to let everyone else see except him. That would be the best. So everyone could talk about it and he would not be able to see.

It's been a rough couple months. Haven't gotten much done at home on the car. We got our first new aircraft a couple weeks ago and started to do our training flights - and on the very first attempt the mechanics pushed it outta the hangar and right into the wing dock and smashed up a wing and aileron.... That put us 2 more weeks behind schedule. FAA is here this week doing their inspections, we do an evac drill this week (and get to blow all the door slides and watch people bound off the concrete) and then proving runs for the next 2 weeks. Then I finally get a break....

Speaking of breaks - sounds like you need to take some time off dude ! New facility, new show room and office, open house, several projects in work, a magazine deal and the debut of the Truck, whew !!!! (and how's that girl friend fitting into all this ??) Pretty soon you'll be needing your own administrative assistant and corporate jet !

Wish I could stop by for the open house. Sounds like a lot of fun and I wish you well !!

Oh yeah don't forget I started my off road racing career and and I started racing on road in my mazda. Plus I finally got my mustang all dialed to start teasing things out out the track. That thing is gonna get me arrested. At least the offroad and on road is only in 1/10 scale. But the shop is looking good, We have some cool projects in the works. We should be starting on the Overkill Chevelle really soon and another bad ass chevelle for a guy from albuquerque. We are also working on starting some frame manufacturing, oh did I say that publicly. My over worked schedule has really given me some great ideas lately, You will have to see Johns car on saturday, it will be looking good.

Well slow down at work, the car is more important. Oh by the way, in my busy schedule, something has suffered, MY LAWN. But Hay I'm never home during the day so who cares right. My neighbors already dislike me for all my loud cars anyways so who cares, Right?

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that showed up we had a great time. We had the usual John fan club in the house, and he was rockstar late this time.

There are some pics floating around of the nova on the ground with alot of the under hood stuff. Along with pics of the cars. I do not have photoshop on this new computer so I cannot resize.

Thanks again

That would be Johns department, not mine I may post some on the Net but he runs his own updates, maybe he is taking lessons from you on the pics. I know he posted some more updates on the steves nova site. I will be updating my website later today, so there will be few. I can email you some in trade only. Plus I do not have any resizing program on this new computer to post them on here.

Hey !

Glad to hear the open house was a success !

Who won the Budnik wheels ??

When can we see the Cad pics ? And the painted Truck ?? You'll probably hold me hostage on the Truck pics until I finish my chassis ......

Resize pic in Photoshop and save for web format:

Open file
Select Image on tool bar - and select Image Size from drop down list.
Change the Pixel Dimensions width box to 1024 or less (if needed)
Select File on tool bar - and select Save for Web.
Right corner press Save button - opens a dialog box - pick the location to save and OK.

I know how, i just don't have the software. But I will not claim to know what I'm doing beyond that.

I'm not trying to be a jackass, I would like to see pics of this mysterious nova. I have never seen a thing, That is why I call you pictureboy, instead of chevyboy. Your always asking for pics and never showing yours.

I should have some freshy one up on my site soon, I'm hunting for camaro and 55 chevy gasser parts right now.

That might be 'underkill', the lesser of the two 67's.

Well your about 3 days late. I just hired a gardner on monday night. But I'm thinking about a housekeeper.

I'm getting a big, and expensive parts pile for the Chevelle project going. So construction will begin soon. Are you coming this way next week? There was 67 Roller in the paper this week for 2000. It said solid rust free shell.

Rodger,

I hear that the open house was a success and most of the people that went by said that you build one heck of a rat rod! I also heard that the go kart chassis with the briggs is just bad ass .......

It was a success except for the heart broke kids who had come hoping for an air ride t shirt to keep them warm at night since they have no place to live. But they had no luck, there were no air ride t shirts for the them, Just Budnik t's and banners which they were happy to recieve. The kids all went home crying, but other than that it was great......
