I'm stressing out about the wheel and tire combo. I know most people build a car around the tire combo, but I know new wheels come out all of the time, I just did not want to buy multiple sets throughout the project. If anyone has an Idea of a wheel/rim let me know. The 65 is not as cool as some of the camaro builds but, it is different and this is why I'm having such a hard time choosing.

I'm bolting on the rear bumper this weekend. I did this whole car in the my garage, I used a paint shops spray booth to paint and had a friend/perfectionist do the panel work and spray it. We are just doing the final wet sanding and polishing.

I just ordered my License plate JEKLNHYD and if you read the write-up on later-g you will see that I wrote that a couple of years ago and it finally clicked that it should also be the plate on the car.

I've spent a lot of time with my 2 girls now the age of 13 and 12 yrs working on the car. They are amazing technicians. Kristina my youngest was the front end specialist and Talia my oldest helped with assembly of the LS6 and setting up the rear suspension.

As I mentioned earlier, the car never left my side because I thought I could finish it sooner than a shop around here in Long Island NY but maybe I was wrong - it has been almost 4 years. All that I do know is that the car is perfect so far, and I can't imagine anyone else being so complete in detail without costing my Kids College fund! (LOL)

I also have a Polished Magnuson with modified pulley that delivers 14lbs of boost on my forged bottom end. This is where the Jekyl and Hyde comes into play, have you ever heard the whine/scream of a Maggie under boost? It's is scary.

Thanks
Chris Campisi

You are correct it would have costs your kids college fund money and then some to have someone do all of the work you did. Very nice ride!

One of my all time favorites is Bill Howell's car. I really like the rim sizes he used. Seems 18's in the front and 20's in the rear work on those big cars. His car is on the home page and I will try to attack a photo here. He is running forgelines...they are pretty pricey.

Bill has 19's and 20's on his ride. And I agree that look pretty bitchin'. I recently ordered the Forgeline VR3P's in a 19 and 20 for my Elky

Those are American Racing rims but not sure of the name but positive they don't make them any bigger than 18"

Like Jason/ZZ3 said, the 19s and 20s on Bills Goat look PERFECT, now you just have to choose a style.

Dont forget that if you buy wheels at PRRC, they are having a drawing on Dec 1, 2007 and that person is going to win the purchase price of their wheels back. So if you are going to buy wheels anyway, take advantage of their great pricing and you just might get lucky!!!!

Hey Tim! How about giving me a set free, and if I win the drawing in December it will save you some money!!!!:unibrow:
