I've seen this car in person and watched it being built at Best of Show. That means I can vouch that it's one very nice second gen.

Sorry to see it go so soon. I thought for sure you would take it to SEMA this year.

Wanna trade for a '68? lol

Thanks for the kind words.
Steve,
There is a lot of time and money in it for sure. I did not expect to sel it so soon either but I have the sickness of enjoying the building process and then wanting to move onto something new. The tough part is that each car I do, I do it with the intention of keeping it so I do a great job on it and spend a lot of $ but end up having to sell it for less than I invested. I guess that's the way it goes.
If I still own it by SEMA, I will give it to a company to let them put it in their booth. Either that or whoever buys it could do the same.

I have not really set a price yet as I just decided to sell it a two days ago.
I will be out of town until May 7th (vacation - no phone, no email) so I will likley come up with a price when I get back in town. Also, I will likely do the full-on sales effort at that time. So far, I have only even mentioned that the car is for sale on this website and one other.
In the mean time if you guys have some ideas of a fair value, throw out some numbers to help give me an idea.
There are quite a few pics at the link posted above. Also, check the June issue of SuperChevy for the feature car article as well as the 6-speed install article.
The May issue of SuperChevy covered the ProCahrger install so there are some pics there as well.
Also, per the classified ad instructions, the car is located in Encinitas, CA (just north of San Diego).
As far as price, I guess it is best offer for now.

Jeff- Have you come up with a price yet? You still have the car here in North County S.D.?

The car is North San Diego. I have been too busy to start the sales process so I have not come up with a price yet.
If you would like to see it, you are welcome.

I love that car! 2nd Gen RS's rock! It sickens me that you are selling it already. A true car guy would drive the hell out of it!!!!
