Who manufactured the block? Obviously a 427 right?
Are those Diamond pistons in that box, it looks familiar?
Nice - love aluminum and big blocks.

That is the new GM ZL-1 block. Yes, those are Diamond Pistons, custom made because Mr. Ross wanted to keep it a standard bore. ;)

Why, because they're in your Arias 540?!!!!! ;) They make a very nice piston Stuart, definitely in the upper end of quality in my opinion.

Yeah, I never saw them in person. The engine guy that put them in my motor swears by them - but I wanted your expert non biased opinion - thanks. Its running on all eight!!!! (inside joke).

Yep all done and a check sent.He said the crank will take awhile because of the holidays and PRI.So Im looking at february or so.

Ive been waiting to see that motor go together since I first saw it over at Pt quite some time ago.

Aluminum block..How cool is that?? No doubt going to be an awesome piece, especially if Jody has his hands into it. Obviously Ross is a HP "junkie" like you Jody!! Keep up the great work Ross.

Since I saw the car and heard about the engine sometimes ago, it is just stuck in my head, 482 all alluminum, what a beast! and the vintiques wheels look awesome too.

That may even subtly change, it's hard to tell with Ross! ;) If you notice he and I keep the for sale section active since both of us are constantly changing direction!
