Do you have the rails already, because I've been told that 21st Century is out of business? If you still want pictures, PM me, I've got 4 or 5.

No definitely not evil marketing- we don't play those sort of games.......
The rumors that we had heard that they were going that direction and Matt posted based off of that.
I hope that they don't go out of business, it looked like they built some nice parts.

Craig, I had hoped by the LOL smilie to indicate that I did NOT think it was "evil" marketing by AME. I like what you guys are doing and wish I had a project on which I could use some of your products. As the proud owner of both a 21st Century subframe and a Lateral Dynamics 3 link, I'll have to wait for the next build.

AME doesn't play those games.. mainly because they don't need to :)
And to be honest, if they had made thier sub when I got mine then I would have gone with the AME stuff mostly because they are such great guys and Craig would have given me a free t-shirt. lol
Nonetheless, the 21st Century sub is some good stuff and still the only one I know of to retain the lower control arm eccentric bolt system.

Hey, I know how to ride someone's coattails. Mark's been telling me that he has a sneaking suspision he'll be able to get me pretty well dialed in even without ever seeing the car.

I dont have the rails yet. I did speak with them last week, so they are not out of business. THe pictures that i am looking for are pics from the bottom of the car. Curious of what needs to be modified to fit. Can i move them inward without modifing the trunk pan?

We've got a car here with 21ts Century clip. Great product! Easy install and it works excellent. The car practically drives itself. Sorry, no experience with their rear frame rails though. What's wrong with your pro street frame rails?

I kind of figured that, but you know how the IN-TAR-NET can blow things out of porportion.
Steve- I can probably get you a shirt w/o having to buy a subframe.:unibrow:

We are still in business at least we were when I went to work this weekend what exactly do you want to know. I am sure Chris can answer any of you questions on the phone.

To quote Mark Twain, "The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated."
Glad to hear you guys are still around (and that I can still get tech support for my subframe).

I want one in my camaro. By far the best chassis around for the car.

At the risk of looking like we are attempting to "steal away" here, we have been looking at offering our rear setup with bent frame rails for cars exactly as you describe: Pro-Street to Pro-Tour type conversions. There are a TON of these cars out there, in fact Penny was one example, we have several others including one coming in to the shop next week that have various guise's of frame modifications. To date, we have only had to modify our crossmembers to accomodate all of the configurations, but we have had requests for a kit with rails included.
If the rear frame rail kit from 21st is as nice as their front clips, I'd say buy it. The front stuff is very, very nice and went into Steve's car without too much fuss. I have not seen the other goods that they make in person, but they seem to have their act together, I'd bet a dollar that the rear stuff will work great for you.

The rails shipped today. The only concern that i have now is, I was planning on going with the G- bar setup. But looking at leadfoots pics i see that the upper bracket is formed to fit the contour of the stock rails while 21st go straight back after the mid section of the inner tubs. I might have to mofify the upper bracket alittle.

I have got the rails and i must say i am extremely pleased with them. However i have started the installation of them yet. I buy parts in the summer and build during the winter. Very hard to have time to work on the car during the summer with all the other activities.
I will take pics tonight and post them.
thanks
