Well the ideas I have are pretty simple for the 72SS.
And Im going about it in my easy ( 10 ) step plain and I want to keep the look simple and clean but with up to date parts for comfort, speed, and handling..

1) Rewire the entire car headlight to tail lights (doing that now) as well as upgrading to LED bulbs behind the factory lenses.

2)Repaint the car the same color as it sits now (lime green from a old mopar)

3)Put in my hyd roller 355 that I used for my last project street strip car that ran 7.20 (motor) 6.80 (nitrous) in the 1/8 mile and convert it to FI.

4) Install either my 700R4 I have here or a richmond 6 speed.

5) Take out the 4.11 gears and put in 3.42-3.73 gears.

6) Put a set of coil overs all around when I lower it with new tube a arms for the front, sway bars front and back, and bushings all around.

7) Upgrade the brakes and add rear disks.

8)Find a nice set of 17-18 inch wheels with wide rubber all around (any ideas here?) and find a way to get them to all fit with that "perfect" profile.

9)Install aftermarket power steering/brakes.

10) Install new guages in factory dash and finish out the interior with heat and AC.

I already have the interior parts, engine, 700r4 (if I decided to use it) and most all of the body work done. I hope to have this thing where i can dive it in the next few months and finished within about a years time so long as my other camaro holds up for another season of 1/8 mile racing .

"This site has a way of making you wallet empty and your credit card maxed "

Sounds like my GF :_paranoid

Well I have thought about using the TPI motor I have here and adding a ATI pro charger to it instead of the 355 from my last project car  but I already have this 355 motor running from my other project all it needs is a little repaint and its good to go :D
