Converted my front brakes to ls1 brakes and will convert my rear pretty soon. Stock 99 Camaro rims will not fit (and are for sale by the way). They are hitting my tubular control arms. What wheels (with specs if possible) are you running with your ls1 brake swap even they are just temps?

I have the LS1 brakes on my 87. Based on this, I'd guess you need to have around 1/4" more offset built into whatever wheel you choose in order to maintain the original offset (if that's what you're shooting for). I think most folks suggest 5.5" backspacing for 1st gens with OE brake setups. (this is what I used for my car with OE front drum brakes).

kinda off topic but what master cylinder and booster are you using with your ls1 brakes? im running stock c5 corvette wheels with a spacer right now. .you could probably buy a spacer to move your camaro wheels out..

I'm running a Hydra boost unit out of a 99 mustang (used the master and booster). It works great but I don't have it permanently in place right now. I was going to go with a fourth gen master and booster as that unit works well too. I still have the fourth gen unit if you need one.

i have ls1 fr/rr setup on my 69. 18x7 w/225/40 fronts. 20x8.5 w/255/35 on rear w/no problems. i had 235/40 on 18x8 up front b/4 the swap but changed because i thought there would be issues, but i believe they would work.

I have some spacers that I will let go fairly cheap that will work for corvette wheels, not sure about camaro wheels. Fronts are 1.25 and rears are 1.75. You can measure and see if they would be in the ballpark.
