I friend of mine sent me a e-mail this morning reminding me of what we were doing on the starting line just before we took off on the 98 mile run in my '84 Vette...he was my co-pilot..

I'm sure Frank can relate...

Their Best song ever.
Here's a good one, the Kid is Jake Gyllenhaal (also Billy Crystal's kid in City Slickers) and the woman is Jamie Presley from "My name is Earl".
I was barely three years old. I think I was watching Sesame Street!
And I have to admit...never heard that song before! :_paranoid

I don't think the music my daughter listens to now will stay around like the 80's rock, never...:beavis:

I have direct tv in the garage, I listen to the boneyard channel in full surround while wrenching. Long live the Metal!!
Kick A$$!! We saw Stephen Pearcy on tour in a local bar just a couple years ago and he LAID IT DOWN! Even though I have no hair, I'm all about the hair bands and the Heavy Metal!
I gotta tell you though if I was on the starting line of the Silver State in 1989, I'd be blasting Judas Priest's Riding on the Wind or Metallica's Battery..... Who am I kidding, that's what would be playing if I was starting the Silver State tomorrow.
You guys will see/hear what I mean on Power Tour!
Where's that smiley giving the metal horns!?!?

Battery is good, but I'd be cranking out Damage, Inc.

but I would have to be jammin Sammy's "I can't drive 55" or AC/DC " Highway to Hell"

Good ones, Guys! Both rocking tunes but it's Metallica. :hail: They should be the official soundtrack of the Silver State!
Their cover of Turn the Page could be your wind down song after the finish line when you need your pulse rate to come back down.
Like Ozzy said; "You can't kill rock n roll, it's here to stay"
