We are doing photoshoots this Thursday (5th) on two very cool PT cars for PHR.

One is the CAR '69 Camaro (I'm shooting) and the other is the Morrison Vette (Johnny is shooting)

I have my helpers but Johnny needs three "reflector Bit@hes" to help with the shoot of the vette.

The down side is that for 5 hours you will be shouted out to aim reflectors and do the grunt crap work that I normally do. lol

The up side is that we will be track testing both cars and you will get to watch.

The shoot will be in Fontana, CA. Start time is around 9-10am and we go till dark.

That's the deal... you will have a blast working for Johnny ;)

Email me at [email protected] and I will check my email tonight. The first three "for sure" people get in. If you have a pick-up truck then let me know (it's helpful).

How much does this new position at PHR pay? What kind of benefits will I get- medical, vision etc? Does Primedia pay for milage/gas? My commute will be a few hundred miles each way.

You got me all excited when I read Art's Vette was one of the cars as I can make it to the Seattle area in a few hours...but Cali makes more since weather wise!! And I even have a truck!! :)

Hehehe...

Just be glad you don't have breasts... you might have to wear reflective pasties.

Hey, thanks for helping out! It was great meeting you. The pics came out awesome and I hope you enjoyed seeing the Vette getting flogged and generally treated like a stolen vehicle. Not to mention some pretty killer numbers :unibrow:

Btw- we just made it home, drove from 7pm-1am last night and from 7am to 10 tonight. 2500 miles in 4 days plus a 12 hour test session. It's time for a cocktail.

It went really well overall, there were a few moments of excitement, and there are pics as well as video (even an in-car shot of going through the slalom course).

Mr Rupp has the pics to prove it, but I think we have officially set the new Primedia record of doing over 1g on the skidpad while the car is on fire and flames are visible :woot:

I am still waiting for official numbers, but we did set some new records.....

It's true.. records were set.. flames were seen.. parts were broken.. and drama ensued.. :)

I think it's worthy of a new thread.. hmmm

Nice to see you and your dad out there.. that is one bad mama jama car you have there!

Thanks Steve for letting me 'help out' and wear your shoes for a day...
Craig, great to meet you and your dad - you guys are really cool and built an awesome car, I hope you get it back on the road quickly! It sure can fly around those cones...

The CAR '69 is just the most over-the-top Camaro I've seen in person... 295 front and 335 rear gumballs with a 572 to make them scream? Incredible!
