VERY NICE!!!
The car looks amazing, but I think the wheels should've been a 18"-20" combo w/ black centers and polished lips, but that's just my opinion. Other than the wheels, I think the car is amazing, and I love the color!

Had an awesome weekend at the show. Met a bunch of guys off of here and everyone was great and had a lot of good things to say about the car. Words dont describe the sounds this car makes. The procharger is just plain nasty! Spent friday evening and sat evening hangin out with the guys from radrides, the ring brothers, Art morrison and a bunch of other great people after the show had closed. This was our first time to columbus and I HIGHLY recommend going next year!
And now....notorious! Finished

Car is bad ass for sure. Blower whine is definitely cool, but when you are in front of the car when it is running, what is the clanging noise? I'm sure I know better, but it sounds like something is loose.

Gotta say the car was wicked, but i have to admit the hour long talk with the owner was even better, we stood in the parking lot of the hotel and shot the shi% and that man is EXACTLY what we as builders dream of having for a customer, hats off to all involved and it was really cool to hear how he kept the whole build from his youngest son for 15 months so he could surprize him with the finished car!!! Very COOL. Rad rides did a wicked job as usual!!

Ive had a bunch of PMs regarding the tire and rims sizing on the nova.

rear rim 18x10---- 295 45 18 tire size

Just a guess but it may be the blower belt, they are running a cogged one.

Yes, Its something to do with that. Also some of the noise is coming from the air that escapes between the belts teeth and the gear itself. If you search on youtube for prochargers, many of them make the same noises.

Quoted from the News section of goodguys hot rods about this weekends chicago show. Hope to see some illinois and surrounding people this weekend
"Harry Daviess, Goodguys VP of Event Operations just called from the Chicagoland Speedway and could barely contain his excitement over this weekend’s 2nd PEAK Chicagoland Nationals. “You should see this place,” Daviess said. “It looks like a major league baseball stadium. The grass is almost neon green. Everything is so clean and ready for Goodguys. This is going to be an awesome weekend.”
The weather is also shaping up to be chamber of commerce perfect. The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies and high temperatures in the low 80s all the way through Sunday. Last week when hurricane Ike hit the Midwest there was some flooding in the state of Illinois but Daviess reported that the Chicagoland facility was unaffected.
In other event news, the vendor midway has been completely sold out for this weekend and Goodguys swap meet coordinator Jeff Johnson reports that he expects this year’s swap meet to nearly double in size.
Rad Rides by Troy of nearby Monteno, Illinois has confirmed that their latest rad ride – the “Notorious” 1970 Nova will be out getting thrashed on in this weekend’s Street Challenge Autocross. The Autocross is scheduled for 9am to 4pm both Friday and Saturday (with an hour lunch break at noon) and is open to all registered event participants.
Another popular event highlight will be the Saturday evening track cruise which begins at 4pm. Every event participant will have a chance to cruise the hi-banks of Chicagoland Speedway! Pick up your track cruise tickets at event registration. For a complete look at this weekend’s 2nd PEAK Chicagoland Nationals, visit the official event website here: www.chicagolandnats.com"

Well he owns it but hasn't driven it yet. Basically we get it once they are done showing the car. With us going into winter its no big deal. Plus it gives them time to iron out any bugs with the car. I myself haven't even been out on the open road with the car yet, actually none of us have (except Jared and Troy).

Hot off the press from today!
Taken from Goodguys site: http://www.good-guys.com/news/newsStory.aspx?newsid=1166
1970 Nova “Notorious” has been selected as the 2008 Goodguys Muscle Machine of the Year presented by Detroit Speed & Engineering. The sinister charcoal and black Nova, built at the Rad Rides by Troy factory has pushed the G machine envelope to the brink. It’s a sinister machine which expertly combines extreme performance with impeccable build quality.
The exterior has been enhanced with one-piece door glass, custom slimmed down bumpers, rocker extensions, a belly pan, custom valences with Camaro driving lights up front, a one off hood, deck lid with integrated spoiler, Camaro taillights and more. All chrome trim has been painted black.
A massive 572-inch big block from GM Performance was mated to an F2 Pro Charger, an MSD “Big Stuff” ignition, custom headers and lots of trick plumbing rumble angrily under the hood. A Bowler Transmission and modified Detroit Speed suspension insure maximum performance. The one-off 18” Billet Specialties wheels are backed by Baer six-piston and fit snugly behind the rear fenders thanks to DSE mini tubs.

If I recall correctly, the fronts are KDW's but the rears are a tire that's been discontinued for awhile now...
