New to the site. Just checking in with some info on my car and some pics. So here is the statistics on my car. This has allready been done or has been purchased and will be installed after i paint it in two or three weeks. I was just laid off from work so its time to tighten the belt a lil. It happens.

Factory Options:
This as far as i know is an original SS, I know it at least came with a V8 option. I did find bits and pieces of the build sheet but can't make out a damn thing on it due to the mice who drug it into the rocker panel on pass side to make a nest out of it. I have had this car for almost three years now and it has months until it is finished.

ONLY 2200 Miles on engine and Trans as it sits in car right now.

No miles on new suspension

Exterior Modifications:
Shaved door handles/locks. Shaved SS fender louvers(never liked them). But i will be keeping the SS hood louvers. It has 8 layers of primer/wet sanding done to it so far. And i am at the point where i need to perfect all the small details on the body before i paint it. The paint will be a Dark metalic Charcoal paint. With tinted windows to match the paint, i will not be blacking out the windows, but adequite tint. Shaved Nova emblems throughout the cars exterior, and possibly some led lighting. All new chrome on everything except the drip rail and window/door frames, i will be polishing them all. I have redone the SS louvers/grill/tail panel pieces to a brand new condition.

Replaced one quarterpanel and patched the other. New tail panel, new floorpan on drivers side. Fixed rust in corner of both doors. Smoothed the firewall. BASE/CLEAR on firewall and all pieces in engine compartment including suspension parts.

Interior Modifications:
Interior includes a customized dash with all auto-meter gauges, with gauge pod and hiden tranny temp gauge that flips down. New dash pad, carpet, bucket seats in front, with new door panels and custom rear interior pieces. Custom center consol. 4 6X9's with sony amp. CD player. New headliner.

Suspension/Chassis:
Brand new poly-eurathane bushings all around, new ball joints, tie-rod ends. New SSBC brake system up front(sold old brake setup to pay for half of upgraded one : )
And disc brake setup out back from a 79 trans-am.
It has a CUSTOM 3-link rear suspension setup, i am going to install the CE 3-way adjustable coilovers for now until i have the extra cash for air ride. Rear panhard bar and sway bar. Front sway bar.

REAR END

Chevy 8.5 ten bolt.

Rear Discs, with new calipers, rotors and pads.

3.73 richmond gears with new posi clutches.

New T&T axels (new company from north idaho) Very stout and
good axels from what i hear and great quality as well as good price.

Electronics:
All wiring in the engine compartment has been hidden and tucked away. The coil has been hiden away as well. I have made my own wiring harness for my custom dash panel. And will be wiring custom LED's into the car soon. Along with an amp and 4 6X9's in the car with a CD player. I put in a double gauge pod on left of the dash as well. I have a hidden gauge which is in my dash that flips down to reveal it.

And some more pics. My previous post wouldn't let me put more then that. The first one is a computer rendering i did of a nova that was fetured in hot rod and is a member of this site. Hopefully he doesn't mind that i photo-chopped it to create my finish product. :_paranoid

love the photoshop image. Looks cool so far. I thought about doing my dash like that too but with a piece of carbon fiber. Keep posting pics as you go together. Looks like it will be a great ride.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I will most definently keep ya updated. Will be having some pics of the 3-link i fabricated here pretty soon.

And as for the wood grain in the dash, It will be painted a textured special black paint. I just havn't got the innitiative up to tear it all back apart... Its a pain with big hands.
