There was a firebird there that really caught my eye. Black with retro style billet wheels, a retrofitted 2006 GTO interior that looked seamless and an LS7/T56. Awesome car. I'm waiting on pictures from my buddy and I'll post some up. I had a little digicam problem at this years Autorama (no batteries).

The pearl white and blue stripe Shelby Mustang belongs to the Owner of the company I work for and he took 2nd place in his class. He was happy.

Awesome. We were able to talk to the man how headed up the project and he had his build book with him. It was an awesome car and he was a perfect gentleman.

Thanks for the pics Marty.
3 out of the top great 8 would having been Ridler winners a few years ago. I thought it would be impossible to top Impression by Chip's but it's seems that Troy has step the game up.

when i was at Troy's two weeks before the show. I got to see the chassis without the body on it. It's was more incredible then you can imagine. I was almost a shame to put the body on the car.

I cant believe people put huge rims on the car and still keep the drums.
or the ricers who paint their drums yellow.

The gap between Foose and Troy has really narrowed and I love watching the builds on their cars. Great design, craftsmanship and new ideas.
In case some folks missed the Impression site. I LOVE the buildup pics !!

The craftmanship on "First Love" is amazing, but I still liked the design of the truck "conundrum" better. I think it was more ground breaking and will lead to more ultra-modern or concept design (think efijy as well) projects in the future. The hot-rod scene is looking for the next "big-thing" and this may be it. Although the price tag to produce such an effort is well out of reach of most individuals. However, there are so many parts companies (and even the O.E.M's) comissioning mega projects I am sure there will be no shortage of cars !!!
