I am not certain I follow the theme, but it does look very nicely done, and as Stuart said, he has some big change in it. not many all out 62s (which is ashame, I really like the little Novas), so it might be a easy record to set.

Maybe the worlds most blinged out 62 nova. It still has the stock firewall and stock heater with a heidts front end and some super fandangled rear suspension, kugel or some thing. I see the theme it is a bolt on theme.
We are building a 62 that will cost more than that.

Bash away...it isn't my car...not something I'd do either.
I overheard he has somewhere north of $150K into the car.

Owner has made a huge work for the car. Well build and lots of shine. But nothing new or unseen.

Well I would have to say $150 not well spent.......

Well, while I probably wouldn't do that myself, I could think of worse fates for a left over Grand National engine. Not many, though. :D

I dont think that it is soo much that it still has the stock firewall in it......I still have the stock firewall in my car but mine is a little different then this. even though i dont have the stock header going though the firewall as he does......lol I would agree on that!

I've always liked the lines of the early Novas, to me they have a very nice and very "tidy" style to start with, and when too much gets added to them, well, lets just say the result isn't always good.
This particular car would look a lot better if the stance could be improved, that would be the first thing I'd change. Again, not to bash, just my opinion...-Rob

I see a similar car at most of the Goodguy's shows I see in Pleasanton. Although it looks finished here. Twin turbo buford six makes it a crazy motor. Too blinged out for me though. I like more subdued and functional. Oh, and if you know the guy, let him know that the heater hose laying on the header isn't a good idea.

The car is nice. Not 150K nice but nice. I like the rear IRS and front suspension setup, the interior is nice two. But I would have expected to see a lot more for the money. Maybe he was over exaggerating....

A little flat black paint behind the grille, and on all the suspension components would do wonders for that car.
Anybody see the license plate? At least Yoko is doing something with all that Beatles money but nobody ever said she had good taste, right? LOL
Maybe she didn't get the memo about less is more......

Put a LS2-7 into that car and it would be perfect. I like the car personally, but not that engine in that car.

That car is nice sure but the engine compartment is giving me a headache looking at it lines and hoses all over the place, he would get killed at Detroit getting judged!

No doubt there is a ton of $$ in this car. But I do not think it was $$ well spent.
We have all heard the phrase "Less is more"
I think this car would be alot more with less, the biggest thing that hurts it is the stance. Once again though...Just my opinion!
On a positive note though...The workmanship is very nice.

To each his own! The owner must like it and thats all that counts. If it was a members car you guys would be giving it thumbs up.
Off the shelf parts. Do not kid yourself, that's what 95% use. These company's have already done the engineering for us. Give the guy a break.

Not my cup of tea.....
My .02
Engine compartment is too messy.
Engine's got too much chrome.
Stance is to high.
I like the paint. I wouldn't do it like that but I can certainly appreciate it for what it is.

Most expensive '62? I've got him beat. Look at the skill in that bodywork, there's at least 10lbs of bondo in that thing...
