I tried to search for an answer on here to this question but...

If I have DSE mini tubs on my 69 Camaro Can I use Air Rides Bolt in 4 link Air Bar? Or will there be some fab work to make it work right?

Min tub and Air Ride works fine.

So using the full potential of the tub (335mm tires) will work using the air bar??? I'm seeing on a diffrent post that you might not be able because of the outer lower links that bolt into the leaf pockets are not offset to allow wider tires.?.?

Im on the same boat. I want to squeez some 335s on my 72 bird with that system, but my searches are going no where.

No problem clearing 335s as long as you set the tubs deep. The Air Bar is not a restriction.

The worst part of the second gen cars in terms of rear tire clearance (well, at least the 70-73 Camaros, I'd guess the same for the others) lies in two places: One, the forward inner "bump" on the lower inner wheel tubs (as in stock) sucks. Hard to describe, it's the feature on the lower, innner part of the stock inners, and needs to go bye-bye. Not a big deal, at all, no sweat really, takes ten minutes to mend while doing a tubber job, which is pretty easy using the stock inner fenderwells. The other issue is the OUTER tub, and more specifically, the way the body line/outer wheel house runs inward, it's not terribly fun either, not much room outboard in bump travel. No sweat either way, we have two 70 Camaros in shop with a simple mini-tub that allow a 335 rear tire to fit, without having to jack the car up like a 4x4 (disclaimer: both cars use our 3-Link Rear Suspension setup which enables the tires to fit). I can't speak to the Air setup, but I can state that with leafs, you'd need to relocate the forward pivots, ala DSE. No issue with our 3-Link kit for those looking for a step "up," but utilizing the stock forward leaf pickups for most/any application could/will limit you to inner tire clearance.

Second gen's rock, the cars are so far above most other muscle cars in terms of performance potential, they will without any question become FAR more popular very soon. All it takes is a few smart, but simple mods.

Deep tubs and airbar dont mix. The lower bars mount the leaf pad and the factory leaf mount in the front. they are not inboard enought to handle the wide tire. You could probably make it work. but it would take some cutting and welding

I guess I need to clarify that you may need to move the pads inboard on the rear. I guess I automatically assume a narrow rear with mini tubs. The front spring eye with the 4 link bar has more clearance then a Leaf spring, and we have a few leaf spring cars running around with 335s only moving the rear of the springs inboard.
