Very stout looking. Is there a specific project vehicle under construction or is that car more a development mule?

I've got the front suspension done also, just lack a few things before I take pictures.

nice work. Where is Big Stone Gap, Va? Is that close to Fancy Gap?
Need more pics of the entire car.

Big Stone Gap is 50 miles north of Bristol as the crow flys. More pictures as the project progresses.

Mark, what are you building? Do you have a motor and tranny in mind? The pics look great.

What wheel and tire package do you plan to run?

Damn nice work. You can see right off that a LOT of thought and preplanning has gone into it. I hope you`ve got some rediculous horsepower planned to make use of that chassis. :D Marcus

That thing is going to need some serious rear seat modifications. ;)

J/K. Looks great! Love the SB2 idea. Would like to hear specs on it. :D

I second that, fill us in on the details Mark. :) Is this yours, or are you building it for someone else? If it's anything like your second gen it'll be a kick-ass car for sure!!!!

I'm building it for someone else. It's a roller cammed Winston cup motor with a T-56. The solid liftered cam motors don't last long. They always are a concern to the racers!! It won't have a rear seat! A lot of things on this build I don't agree with. The guy has never built a car like this. Leaving the stock outter wheel house and the quarter extensions in just don't make sense to me building the rest of the car this radical. But everbody wants something different!

Mark,
Are those the actual lower A-arms or will you be building the final parts out of round tube?

Mark,

So do you do side jobs for people?

It will be the same as in the pics. Retangular tubing 1.5x .75!! The rest is not complete yet. Still lack the shock mounts and swaybar mounts. And finished welding.

I've been working on getting this going for a while. It's tough working a regular job and doing this in your spare time. I've got a small backlog all the time it seems. Tom at Dream Car wants me to do some jobs for them. I belive that will help get it up and going so I can do it full time!! Still love race cars but the mentalitly really gets to you after a while. Maybe have to go back, who knows.

Thanks
Mark
