OK i was gonna buy some tires for the rallys but the backspacing is all off and i found some temporary wheels..

Im going to order some motorsport z06 wheels for my 69 camaro and what i gather a 56 mm offset is a 6.95bs.. i was told to use a 2Inch spacer on the front but my wheel guy says 1".. and im confused.. ive done research and havent got a solid answer.. there is a car with 1.75 front spacer and 2.5 rear spacer.. claims no rubbing.. that would make the total bs on the front 5.2 and the rear 4.45.. does this sound right?

I would like to know exactly what size spacer to run on the front and what size to run on the rear.. the tire will be a 245/45/r17 all the way around.. my car is lowered and i do drive it daily. .i dont want any rubbing.

I hope that I'm not too late to chime in... I am installing the ATS tall spindle kit with ATS C5 brakes. Because the money is drying up, I' installing the stock 17x9 wheels off of my 2000SS Camaro. They have been in the attic for the past 4 years. I have a 1.7 in spacer for the front, and a 2" for the rear. I think a 1.85 would be better for the rear, but the 1.7 is perfect for the front. I test fitted a 275zr40 tire in the front and the only place it hit when I jacked the suspension all the way up was on the sub-frame when I tuned it all the way to the left, on the drivers side. I hope that this helps I'll attach a link to the pic.
