Jalopnik did a feature on our Vette going into the GranTurismo video game:thumbsup: Scroll down and look at the comments - I guess some people just don't understand! Funny stuff.
 Sparkly happy look?? Dude, go buy a VW Bug.
I think the headlights, though, are ghastly. To quote Akier, it's got "coelacanth-like headlights," "a withdrawn, dark, dead-fish look." They need the sparkly happy look the old roundeyes had.

Congrats on making it to the virtual world of gaming! That's pretty cool stuff.
I can just picture the kids that made those comments. Gotta love the anonymity of cyber conversations, especially when you're still borrowing Mommy's minivan to go to the mall arcade. Woohooo!
Good on ya, Craig!
Obviously Jalopnik regulars are clueless! People love to hate anonymously via the internet! The car is bitchin' and everyone with half a clue and any sense of modern styling knows it!

A couple of years ago I parked outside a fastfood joint to grab something to eat. Outside was this kid on a skateboard, maybe 8 or 9 years old and he looked at my Camaro as kids usually do except that this kid says:
"Cool, a '69 Camaro Z/28"
I asked him how he knew that my car was a '69 Camaro Z/28 and he said: "I drive one in GranTurismo, its the coolest car I know" :unibrow:
Then he went away, if he had stayed I would have given him a ride in a real one :D

That is SO killer!! Congrats once again on an amazing build!
Oh- and if having your hard work heavily criticized from people who don't know what they're talking about bugs ya - Don't ever write car magazines! LOL!!!
Keep up the good work Amigo- Hopefully I'll see ya sometime soon!

Who cares if they love it or hate, they are talking about it and that is what counts. Most those comments are a joke and contradicting.

The IN-TAR-NET really is funny - in the end, it all worked out OK. We had some laughs at the comments, the story got a lot of views - as a result we got air time on Maxim radio and very will be featured in the French Play Station mag.
Just to really go with the trends, I am thinking we should turn the Vette into a DONK and roll with some 28"'s and Lambo doors. Yea-YEA!
